Chris Martin shows us how his Peace Corps service in Ghana has had a major influence on his furniture design. Chris and his wife served a two-year tour of service for the Peace Corps in Ghana, and their art since returning shows both a clear influence of the many cultures and traditional craftsmanship found in Africa, and incorporates elements from makers living in Ghana who are being introduced to new market through their work.
